Dice Throne is a hero-combat game system built around custom dice, character boards, and tactical cards. Each hero has a distinct set of five dice and a unique ability layout. Players roll and reroll to activate attacks, defenses, and special powers while reducing opposing heroes’ health.

Cards can upgrade abilities, apply status effects, change dice results, or respond to opponents. The system supports head-to-head battles as well as several team and free-for-all formats, with heroes designed to be cross-compatible across releases.

Players: commonly 2–6 depending on format
Typical play time: roughly 20–40 minutes per battle
Original designers: Nate Chatellier and Manny Trembley
