Farkle is a classic push-your-luck dice game usually played with six standard d6s. Players roll for scoring dice or combinations, set aside eligible results, and decide whether to bank the accumulated points or continue rolling the remaining dice.
If a roll produces no scoring result, the player “farkles” and loses the unbanked points from that turn. Many house and published rule sets exist, so exact scoring tables can vary. The common structure—score, set aside, reroll, and decide when to stop—makes Farkle one of the best-known examples of push-your-luck dice play.
